One of mah favorite pokemons. ^^ Nyeh I got bored an' decided to post this pic. (mispelling was on purpose)
The bright and darkness of the color blue indicate that she is Lust. Finding an animal that symbolizes lust was difficult, but I eventually decided to use the spider. Usually in the insect kingdom, many female bugs mate then devour their mates for nutrition for their babies, like the mantis or the spider. Though Lust doesn't look like a spider the background resembles a spiderweb. Lust is a prostitute spinning webs of lies to get rich and seduces everyone into doing what she wants.
Sloth never liked working when he was on Earth, but now he is forced to carry a massive boulder that is chained to his body for the rest of eternity. The floor and the environment look so uncomfortable that the viewer might feel a little sorry for Sloth. It the background you could see other figures carrying massive boulders (size of the boulder depends on the level of sin).
For someone who's rich and spoiled the worst thing (in my opinion) that can happen to them is becoming poor. Here I have Greed (Human form) trying to keep herself warm by a hobo fire. She has recently lost all her treasure and her powers (Transforming into a dragon). Greed now lives in poverty and wears filthy rags. The background, which is all fire-y and glow-y, symbolizes hell. She still wears yellow indicating her sin, but usually you don't see bright colors on hobos.
Ok, now this one needs some explaining. According to a movie I once saw, Envy wishes to have everything. In this picture, Envy steals the person's identity and locks him away in a closet. Envy wants to have and live that other person's life. The mirror behind Envy reflects what he/she really looks like and in the foreground Envy is peeling away his/her old face so he/she can turn into anyone (in this case the kid in the closet).
As I was making some cards of sins, I had a good idea to make envy twins. Envy's color is green and its animal is a dog. I tried to make a human/beast creature but the only thing I could do to it in this piece was give it some pointed dog ears. The tattoos on the twin's arms represent the male and female symbols.
